Scott playing his Vizcarra guitar at Phil’s Space in Santa Fe.
Check out Scott’s website here.
His Vizcarra guitar consists of a western red cedar soundboard, Canadian cypress back and sides (AKA yellow cedar) 7-fan brace design, closing bars, cedar bridge plate, 652mm scale length, ebony fingerboard, rosewood binding and bridge. I installed Pegheds on this instrument. He employs minimalist techniques for sound re-enforcement that typically include one microphone, one DI box, one powered speaker and a lot of heart.
He plays D’Addario Dynacore strings.
